FLUIDITY FILMS:

PRODUCTION COMPANY

Fluidity Films is the independent British film production company behind RC Sherriff's WW1 classic Journey's End (starring Sam Claflin, Asa Butterfield & Paul Bettany) released internationally to critical acclaim in 2018 and Michael Morpurgo's hugely influential WW1 tale Private Peaceful (Jack O'Connell & George Mackay). The company has a literary-based slate of work that crosses genres, budgets and styles. It has recently co-produced The Laureate (Tom Hughes, Dianna Agron & Laura Haddock), the untold story of WW1 writer and poet Robert Graves.

JONATHAN WILLIAMSON:  WRITER.

Jonathan is a graduate of the London Film School and in 2010 graduated with an MA from the screenwriting program at Bathspa University. Jonathan recently won the prestigious New York Radio Gold award for Best Drama Podcast for his audio play Boleyn Brothers, a WWI historical drama. He has written episodes for B7 Productions of an Audible Original audio series. His play, Protect & Survive was produced for the 2017 Brighton Festival. He has written multiple episodes for audio series The Other One Percent.  He has screenplays optioned by Archer Street Productions and  Fluidity Films.

GUY DE BEAUJEU: PRODUCER

Guy produces the projects on Fluidity Films’ slate including RC Sherriff’s Journey’s End and Michael Morpurgo’s Private Peaceful. He also produced and co-wrote the comedy feature doc What You Will, released on DVD by Soda Pictures. Most recently he produced The Laureate, a co-production with Deya Productions, due for international release in 2021. He is also a scriptwriter and will produce his script of the countryside comedy Barrel Boys in 2021. Other projects include Dangerous Days – the extraordinary true POW story of a WW2 escape in 1945.

IAN SCIACALUGA: DIRECTOR

Ian is a versatile film-maker who straddles the opposing worlds of documentary and TV advertising. In the former, he produces, writes, directs and frequently self shoots presenter-led and contributor-filled shows about travel, adventure, food, art and architecture. In the latter, he directs drama-based and comic TV commercials for big companies like Cadbury, BT, Dove and Kellogg's. He has been a finalist at the Cannes Lion Advertising Awards for best New Director, and a runner up in the best UK Short category at the Raindance Film Festival for his short 35mm drama, “Imbroglio”.

Metro International represents quality, commercial films for the global market. It specialises in prestige films for sophisticated audiences worldwide and also represent broad commercial thrillers and art-house films as well as theatrical “event” documentaries.
